With more than 25 years in the jewelry industry, Myranda, Founder of Mynda Fine Jewelry, has built a reputation for award-winning design, estate jewelry expertise, and a highly personal approach to working with clients. She takes the time to truly understand each individual she works with so she can design or source the piece of jewelry that feels unique to them. Based in beautiful Arizona, Myranda is often on the move, traveling all over the world to meet clients and create exceptional, meaningful jewelry.
Experience, Expertise, and a Personal Touch
Myranda began her career by founding a vintage jewelry business and quickly became known for her skill in evaluations, appraisals, and sourcing one-of-a-kind pieces. She is also highly sought after for transforming estate jewelry into meaningful heirloom designs.
After establishing herself in the estate world, she expanded into custom design and diamond brokering, serving clients across the U.S. and around the world, including celebrities and executives. Her custom work spans all types of jewelry, with a special focus on bridal, colored diamonds, and her one of a kind sapphire collection, The Candy Gemstones.
What truly sets Myranda apart is how she treats every client with the same level of care and respect, regardless of budget. She finds just as much joy in creating a beautiful engagement ring for a young couple as she does in designing a bold, custom statement piece. Much of her business comes from referrals and long-standing relationships, often working with multiple generations of the same family.
Myranda is equally passionate about giving back. She serves on several charitable boards and generously supports numerous organizations with both her time and resources. She currently sits on the board of the Chandler Service Club, which provides essential services and support to underprivileged children, and she contributes to dozens of charities nationwide. Her commitment to service has earned her recognition for both her volunteer efforts and financial contributions.
Where Sparkle Became a Lifelong Calling
Myranda’s love for jewelry began when she was just a little girl. “Honestly, my love for jewelry started when I was just four or five years old. I was completely obsessed with sparkle,” she recalls. “I still remember being asked in eighth grade what my favorite color was, and I said, ‘sparkle.’ That’s always been me.”
Her creative vision took shape early. “My grandmother taught me how to bead, and I grew up collecting indigenous jewelry and vintage treasures,” she says. “I used to play ‘jewelry store’ with my sister, and those were some of my happiest memories.” Even when Myranda explored designing clothing, jewelry remained at the center. “I always ended up asking myself, ‘How many crystals, beads, and brooches can I add?’ Jewelry was always my true calling,” she reflects.
Those early experiences became the foundation for what Myranda Fine Jewelry is today: deeply personal, colorful, artistic, and rooted in storytelling. She also reflects on the emotional connection she has always felt to jewelry, saying, “Jewelry felt like an escape. No matter what was happening in life, putting something beautiful on made me feel more confident, more radiant, more like myself. I always say jewelry is confidence on the go,” she shares.
Despite limited resources, Myranda found creative ways to begin, initiating creative jewelry projects using beads and marbles. She remembers the moment everything changed. “I sold my first pair of earrings and a chain when I was twelve, and from that moment on, I was hooked,” she recalls. Even then, her vision was clear. She always knew that she wanted to build something bigger with a brand that brought “light, beauty, and emotion” into the world through jewelry.
Designing Jewelry That Reflects the Soul
Myranda’s personal philosophy is simple. She says, “Be yourself. Everyone else is taken.” To her, jewelry is never about right or wrong; it should be about who you are. “If you want bold, bright statement pieces, let that shine. If you’re subtle and minimalist, that’s beautiful too,” she affirms. She believes every piece should feel like a part of someone’s story. “I want every heirloom we create to be an expression and expansion of someone’s journey. Jewelry should reflect the soul of the person wearing it,” she reflects.
That belief shapes how she works with clients. “That’s the heart of what we do. We connect deeply with our clients, whether someone is designing a new piece or bringing in jewelry passed down from a loved one. We over-communicate, we over-care, and we truly listen,” she explains.
Myranda understands that jewelry carries memory and emotion. “Jewelry is meant to be worn, to be seen, and to be lived in. Jewelry holds memories. Even if someone wants to modernize a piece from their mother or grandmother, we find a way to preserve that love and emotion,” she notes. Her goal is not a single transaction but a lasting connection. “We don’t want one-time customers. We want lifelong relationships. We design jewelry to be lived in and loved,” she says.
Innovation also plays a central role in her work. She combines advanced technology and precision tools with traditional techniques. “Innovation is huge for us. The industry has changed so much. Today, we use advanced technology, precision engineering, and the best tools available to create incredibly accurate, modern jewelry,” she explains. At the same time, she honors heritage and craftsmanship. “We also blend that with old-world craftsmanship and vintage soul. We never cut corners because quality is everything,” she insists.
Leaping Without a Plan B
The defining moment in Myranda’s journey came two years ago when she decided to open Myranda Fine Jewelry. She had never been a sole business owner before and chose to step away from the safe path to fully embrace entrepreneurship.
“It felt like jumping off a cliff and realizing I didn’t have a parachute,” she states candidly, adding, “Once you jump, you either sink or swim, and I will never sink. I will always swim.” With no backup plan, Myranda discovered a new level of determination. “There was no plan B, and when you know there’s no plan B, you do things you never thought you were capable of,” she declares.
Opening the brick-and-mortar store became an unforgettable milestone. “Hundreds of people showed up with flowers, encouragement, and support,” she recalls. “That was the moment I realized this wasn’t just a dream anymore. I was really doing it.” During that time, she often reminded herself, “How do you face fear? You walk right through it.”
One of her proudest moments now is the brand’s expansion into media and the launch of an online store. “That’s exciting and terrifying all at once, but the world is online, and people deserve to see what my team and I are creating,” she says, adding, “We’re relatable. We’re passionate. This next evolution feels like a huge leap of faith, and one I’m proud to take.”
Strength Forged Through Uncertainty
One of the hardest moments in Myranda’s journey came after months of paperwork and anticipation when she was denied an SBA loan. She had believed the funding would ease the pressures of inventory, payroll, and expansion.
She remembers sitting in her office at five in the morning thinking, “How am I going to tell my team? How will we survive?” That moment became a turning point and lit a fire in her. “We built the business one shoebox at a time, or I like to say, one bite of the elephant at a time. Today, we are debt-free,” she shares with pride.
The experience reshaped her leadership style and taught her how to lead with strength, even when she felt uncertain, because “a leader sets the tone for the entire team.” She often reflects on advice from her grandmother, who used to say, “Fake it until you make it.”
Harmony, Intention, and Purposeful Leadership
Myranda is candid about how she approaches the idea of balance. She says, “I’m going to be real. I don’t really believe in balance. I believe in harmony. I believe in intention.” When she first began building her business, she had honest conversations with those closest to her. “I told my children and loved ones, ‘I may be the worst mom or friend for a little while, but I have to do this.’ Jewelry isn’t just my job, it’s my purpose. I live and breathe it,” she shares.
As a founder, she understands the many roles she must step into each day. She starts her mornings very early, making sure that she steps into the mindset of a business owner first. “Then, throughout the day, I get to be an artist. Balance is a blender. You put everything you do and everything you love in it, hit the button, and it always turns out… delicious!” she says with a smile.
Myranda is equally intentional about the people in her life. “I always remind myself: Love is spelled T I M E. It’s not about how much time; it’s about quality time and showing up with intention,” she insists. Her approach to leadership and life is grounded in attitude and perseverance. She often repeats a favorite saying, “How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time.” Step by step, she leads with passion, purpose, and intention, always striving to lead by example.
Walking Through Fear With Purpose
Myranda hopes her journey shows women that waiting for the perfect moment is often what holds them back. Reflecting on her own path, she shares, “I started with nothing, no balance, no business, no financial backing, oh..and out of my home office that’s 200sq.ft. I waited for years, thinking I needed everything in place. There will never be a perfect time. You’ll never have enough money, enough confidence, or everything figured out.”
Her advice is simple and honest. “Everything in life is hard. So, my advice is: Pick your hard. If I can follow my dreams, truly, anyone can.” She also understands how intimidating the luxury and creative industries can feel. “Confidence can feel debilitating, especially in luxury. Sometimes, survival is the push you need.” Myranda just love this quote, “Do big things, then get the confidence, not the other way around.”
That is why Myranda encourages women not to wait. “Don’t wait for permission. Don’t wait until you feel ready. Walk right through the fear.” Above all, she believes growth comes from action. “You learn by doing. You grow by stepping into the unknown. When you have passion, perseverance, and intention, you will find your way,” she urges.
Conclusion
Myranda hopes the legacy of Myranda Fine Jewelry extends far beyond a storefront or a single generation. She envisions it as “more than a store,” describing it as “a legacy of artistry, women-led leadership, emotional connection, and timeless heirlooms.” Above all, she wants the pieces created under her name to evoke feeling. In her words: “I want people to look at my jewelry and feel something: confidence, beauty, love, memory, and light. That is what I hope to leave behind.”
