From Sales & Marketing Management to Strategic Leadership
Citrefine manufactures Citriodiol®, a natural insect repellent ingredient steam-distilled from the oil of the Eucalyptus citriodora tree. “At Citrefine, we position Citriodiol® not just as an ingredient, but as the new standard in a competitive, sustainability-conscious marketplace,” Federico notes.
When he joined the company in April 2019, he focused on strengthening global sales and building brand awareness for Citriodiol®. “Today, I lead a team responsible for proving that ‘natural’ and ‘effective’ are not a compromise,” Federico says.

One of the achievements Federico is most proud of is the significant expansion of Citriodiol®’s applications. He notes that Citrefine has been instrumental in creating and supporting partnerships to expand the use of Citriodiol®, also known as Oil of Lemon Eucalyptus or EC Oil, beyond just on-skin products.
