However, he soon realized that outside the MRC perimeter walls, the reality was starkly different. “From broken equipment littered in the corridors of public hospitals to maintenance workshops piled with all sorts of non-functional medical devices, and yet a disorderly supply chain of healthcare consumables around the country,” he notes.
